Amalway is Agadir’s flagship BRT project to create a modern, high‑capacity, low‑emission public transport system. It features a dedicated lane and uses SWARCO's prioV2X solution to reduce crossing times at each intersection.

Results
With the SWARCO PrioV2X solution we connect busses, CAV and emergency vehicles to reduce crossing times at each intersection. The V2X solution covers a full deployment including: SWARCO Road Side Units (RSUs) and Onboard Units (OBUs), SWARCO Traffy traffic light controlers and SWARCO prioV2X with Traffic Light Control Monitoring Central software.
With this solution we increase speed up to 30%, from 30 km/h to 40 km/h. At the same time we improve punctuality and ensure complete interoperability of systems in the platform. In addition, CO2 emissions are reduced up to 20% (TNO study).
